We hired the driver with the understanding that he had limited experience, and we actively supported him in gaining practical skills. However, shortly after, he was involved in an accident at a truck stop where he hit another truck. The day after the accident, he requested time off, and just one day later we were informed that he had applied for a new driving position at another company without notifying us. We find this behavior irresponsible and unprofessional.
